I have a pretty long list of countries that I want to visit and Cuba was definitely on the top of my list. So I was pretty excited when earlier this year all my pestering paid off and my family decided our next trip would be to Havana, Cuba.
Havana is the most colourful and vibrant city I have ever been too. The locals were super friendly there was a lot to do and explore. From drinking at El Floridita, where the writer Ernest Hemingway used to indulge in many daiquiris to dancing the night away to salsa music. I also got to learn more about the history of Havana from museums, locals and tour guides.
Sun, sea and rum... what more could you ask for in a holiday?
